Associated Colleges Teaching Effectiveness Conference 2025
We invite you to join us for the Associated Colleges of St. Lawrence Valley’s Annual Teaching Effectiveness Conference.
Theme: “Navigating a Shifting Landscape: Supporting Students and Faculty”
Date: Saturday, November 15, 2025.
Time: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (Registration and check-in at 8:15 a.m.)
Location: SUNY Potsdam, Barrington Student Union, Multi-Purpose Room
This year’s theme, “Navigating a Shifting Landscape: Supporting Students and Faculty“, reflects the evolving realities of higher education and the shared responsibility of supporting both students and faculty. The day features:
- Keynote Address from Alissa Karl, UUP Vice President for Academics, on navigating change in academic life.
- Interactive Workshops exploring accommodative services, international student engagement, and integrating mental health into pedagogy.
- Student Panel offering direct perspectives on enhancing the academic experience.
- Community & Inclusion Conversations that unpack shared needs across our campuses.
- Roundtable Dialogue taking the pulse of faculty experiences today.
