This workshop will discuss varied approaches to interdisciplinary scholarship, including projects that cut across academic and community organizations. It will address challenges and strategies for successful interdisciplinary partnerships and provide opportunities for participants to make connections and identify potential future collaborators.

Faculty Seminar: Mathematics Conference and Competition of Northern New York (MCCNNY) 2024

Anticipated Date of Seminar: March 2, 2024

The Mathematics Conference and Competition of Northern New York (MCCNNY) 2024 is a one day conference that will bring faculty and students from the Associated Colleges of the St. Lawrence Valley. All undergraduate students, graduate students, and faculty who are interested in the mathematical sciences (not necessarily majoring in mathematics) are welcomed to participate in the conference. We aim to foster collaborations between the mathematics departments within the Associated Colleges, interdisciplinary work between mathematics and applied sciences between all faculty and students in the local area, and to increase participation from other disciplines in local, national, and international mathematics communities.
