2026 Associated Colleges Teaching Effectiveness Conference
Date: Saturday, September 26, 2026
Location: St. Lawrence University
Theme: Rethinking Teaching in the Age of AI: Navigating New Challenges and Opportunities in Learning.
Educators are invited to critically examine how artificial intelligence is reshaping teaching, learning, research, academic integrity, and the human relationships at the center of education.

The conference emphasizes practical, human-centered approaches to teaching with and around AI while preserving critical thinking, connection, academic rigor, and inclusive learning. Participants will leave with concrete strategies, shared resources, and opportunities for continued collaboration across institutions.

A detailed conference program will be shared with registered participants closer to the event date.

Conference registration is supported by ACSLV’s Provost and Academic Affairs Offices.

Event Description:
Colleges & Businesses: Stronger Together

Join us for an engaging panel of local businesses and colleges working together to strengthen our County. Business leaders will share how their partnerships with colleges began, the opportunities they created, and the impact they’ve had on students, organizations, and the North Country—from workforce development and student projects to community initiatives.

The program will conclude with a networking mixer, offering business leaders, educators, and community partners the opportunity to connect and explore new collaborations.
Refreshments will be served.
This event is hosted by the Associated Colleges of the St. Lawrence Valley, Potsdam Chamber of Commerce, and St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce.
