Faculty/Student Dialogue: Allyship Practices and Barriers

Join faculty and students from the four colleges of the St. Lawrence Valley to engage in active scholarly discussion on the topic of allyship as a mechanism for supporting inclusion in our community. Professor Pillay will discuss what allyship has meant to her in her life and career, incorporating allyship through indigenous teaching frameworks, and strategies for enabling allyship in our community. This student/faculty dialogue event is sponsored by the Associated College of the St. Lawrence Valley.

 Call for Participation

All undergraduate, graduate students and faculty from northern New York are invited to participate in the sixth Mathematics Conference and Competition of Northern New York (MCCNNY2024), at Clarkson University 03/02/2024. This conference is a student-driven research oral and poster presentations and panel discussions. The purpose of the conference is to foster collaborations within the Associated Colleges of the St. Lawrence Valley, provide career, REU and graduate school information, and to celebrate the success of mathematics students.
